Senior soccer encompasses all age groups older than U18 Including males – All Ages and Over 35’s  and females – All Ages and Women Over ’30s.

Our commitment

Women's Football at DPWFC

Our goal for 2030 is to increase the proportion of women and girls' registrations to 50% of players, coaches and managers. We aim to do this by:

  • Running trial clinics targeted at girls

  • Establishing a mentoring program between junior and senior players.

  • Retaining 4 targeted all girls teams

  • Providing ample opportunities for girls and women to try out and enjoy the game.

EmpowerHER

A great introduction to the game!

We warmly invite you to an introductory football program focusing on fun, football and friendship for women over 16.

​

We’re proud to be collaborating with the Macarthur Bulls FC to deliver EmpowerHER, a FREE football pathway for women and girls in our community This program is part of the Play Our Way initiative, proudly supported by grant funding from the Australian Government, created to break down barriers and provide equitable opportunities for women and girls in sport.  

​

Parents who have kids are also able to register their kids to a concurrent summer program which will provide opportunities for skill development, fun and connection. 

 

What is EmpowerHER?

 

EmpowerHER is a FREE, inclusive and accessible football program designed to support women and girls across South West Sydney and the Macarthur region — with a strong focus on CALD, Indigenous and isolated communities.  

 

What will the program deliver?

  • Physical health & fitness

  • Mental health & wellbeing

  • Social inclusion & community connection

  • Skill development & empowerment

  • Education & confidence building

  • Promoting social change & gender equality  

 

Registrations & Expressions of Interest:  

 

The program is run on Thursday nights from 6.30 - 7.30pm, starting on January 15th, at Douglas Park Sportsground.

Registration Perks

Providing the gear and uniforms to support you. 

In 2026, we have been lucky enough to secure a grant to provide inclusive uniform options for women and girls in our club. â€‹As part of this grant, women and girls are who register as a player may be eligible for a $50 voucher to a sports uniform provider to purchase new gear for the 2026 season!

​

This includes boots, shin pads, alternative uniform options (undershirts/ shorts), or sports bras, for example. This is aimed at making soccer an inclusive, supportive and comfortable sport to play your way. 

​
